How we maintain a positive, respectful community environment
Our Moderation Approach
Kendall.Miami uses advanced automated filtering combined with human moderation to maintain a welcoming community environment. Our goal is to create a space where all residents feel comfortable sharing, learning, and connecting.
Automated Content Filtering
- Inappropriate Language: Posts containing profanity or offensive language are automatically flagged
- Spam Detection: Commercial promotions, advertisements, and repetitive content are filtered out
- Excessive Capitalization: Posts written entirely in capital letters are moderated
- Word Repetition: Content with excessive word repetition is reviewed
- URL and Contact Filtering: Posts with excessive links or contact information are flagged
Human Moderation
Our community moderators review flagged content and ensure all posts align with our community values. Moderators are Kendall residents who volunteer their time to help maintain our community standards.
What Happens to Flagged Content
- Automatic Review: Flagged content is sent to our moderation queue
- Human Review: Community moderators review the content within 24 hours
- Decision: Content is either approved, edited, or removed
- Notification: Users are notified of moderation decisions
- Appeal Process: Users can appeal moderation decisions if they believe content was incorrectly flagged
Community Standards
- Use respectful, family-friendly language
- Stay on topic and relevant to Kendall community
- No commercial promotions or advertisements
- No personal attacks or harassment
- No sharing of personal information without permission
- No posting of inappropriate images or content
- Be helpful and constructive in your interactions
AI-Generated Content
Kendall.Miami uses AI technology to generate informative articles based on local news and community topics. All AI-generated content is clearly marked and reviewed for accuracy and relevance to our community.
Reporting Issues
If you see content that violates our community guidelines, please use the report function available on all posts. You can also contact our moderation team directly through the contact page.
Appeals Process
If you believe your content was incorrectly moderated, you can appeal the decision by contacting our moderation team. We review all appeals fairly and will reinstate content if it meets our community standards.
